For The Easily Distracted Creative
Part eleven: Bother us with your brilliance: your art, your weird, your “too out there” ideas—your disruptions to the status quo
You’ve found your path. You can *feel* it’s where you belong. It’s as if everything, even the failures, have been leading you right here. To this moment.
Finally!
It’s time to take up space.
Hold nothing back.
Oh, look! There’s another door…
We’ve been exploring how to share our creative ideas more swiftly, steadily, and playfully alongside the doubts, the fears, the lack of clarity.
And one of the ways through is to remember you can always pick another idea. But sometimes, we know in our bones we’re on the right path, and yet…
Something glitters, beckoning you away. A shiny object, some would say. Or…
Is it the next piece of your path?
How’s one to know?
To know that, we must first know: what is it that you’re working toward?
And then we must know: is the next step in your path necessary, but not easy or enjoyable?
If so, this exciting new glitter may just be a delay tactic from the part of you that’s scared.
🧐What’s the vision you’re committed to? What support does the part of you that’s scared need so you can recommit?
Because if we never actually stay committed to anything, we don’t get to see it work out.
Did you know when you tap the heart or drop a comment, whatever I’m doing, a smile appears on my face? It’s true!
Until next time,
Ryn
