‘No ideas’ isn’t a real creative block. What might happen if you went with the one that’s “bad,” “too small,” or “been done already”?
Note from Ryn: I don’t struggle with “no ideas” when it comes to writing, but I used to be intimidated by a blank sketchbook page because “I don’t know what to put on it.” Or so I thought! I took a drawing class with Mel Mitchell-Jackson, and it turns out “no ideas” isn’t a real block with drawing either. (If you’re a visual artist or want to be, I’d recommend checking out their classes.)
