We’re starting our exploration of how to honor our creative pace with the topic of safety. So far, we’ve talked about trying to find safety in being The Best.
It can be heavy to think about how the things that have helped us stay safe in the past are the things that are keeping us stuck now. So today, I’m inviting you to root into what makes you feel good even though you’re bad at it.

I love love love painting with watercolor! As someone who has often found safety in being “good” at things, there’s something about the unpredictability of the medium that feels so nourishing, healing even.
Learning American Sign Language. I’ve plateaued recently but even when I feel discomfort with it I still get pleasure from using it and knowing I’m part of making the world more accessible by learning it.
